Our Programs

Detroit CHEMpreneurIST offers hands-on STEAM and entrepreneurship programs designed to help young people explore creativity, problem-solving, and real-world innovation. Our programs are delivered through schools, after-school settings, and community partnerships.

Personal Care Chemistry

From concept to manufacturing, students explore personal care chemistry through hands-on product development. They research product ideas, design their own product or customize a formula, and use the scientific method to guide the process. Through hypothesizing, experimenting, observing, and analyzing results, students build both scientific understanding and creative problem-solving skills.

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is powered by innovative change makers and status quo shakers. Our lessons help students tap into their creativity to generate ideas and identify opportunities within their communities. Through hands-on experiences, students can explore market research, prototype products or ideas, develop a business model, and practice pitching their ventures to stakeholders and investors.
